Following on from our earlier preview, free access to SonoAnalyzer Version 3 is now available at:
https://v3free.powerultrasonics.com/
No login is required to access the page, view the built-in documentation or load examples but to run new analyses you will need to sign in.
Who already has access?
All current active users on sonoanalyzer.com already have access on the Free plan. Sign in using your sonoanalyzer.com email address and password (note: email address, not username).
Previous purchasers — even if your license has since expired — have access to a shared Base or Pro server free of charge until 1 August 2026. You will find the link in your user account under My Files (login required). You can also log into the free server linked above but there you will be subject to Free user limits - a server-wide limitation. The Base and Pro servers offer significantly greater capability.

New registrations
If you don't yet have an account there are two ways to register:
- Free registration at sonoanalyzer.com/user/register — accounts are approved manually, please allow up to 24 hours and include a valid reason for registering.
- Instant access via Stripe subscription at v3free.powerultrasonics.com/subscribe — free of charge but card and email verification required, approval is immediate.
Access levels
Version 2 Online Edition license holders receive Base access. Version 2 Pro license holders receive access to a shared Pro server (for demonstration purposes — Pro will normally run on a private server).
Upgrades for Version 2 license holders
If you previously purchased SonoAnalyzer version 2 and your license expired within the past 3 years, you can obtain a discounted Version 3 subscription by entering your license number on the subscribe page, or via the Subscription link on your Base / shared Pro server. Prices are fixed at the current renewals: SonoAnalyzer Base (upgrade from version 2 OE) Au$250 per year, SonoAnalyzer Pro (upgrade from version 2 Pro) Au$480 per year.
If you previously purchased SonoAnalyzer version 2 and you have a current license, the remaining time will be transferred to your new version 3 subscription. You can either:
- set up a new discounted Base / Pro subscription as shown above, using your version 2 license key, or
- set up a new Free subscription to be adjusted manually with the appropriate plan, discounted rate and next payment date.
In either case please contact me by email or the contact page to request that the remaining license time is credited.
If you previously purchased SonoAnalyzer version 2 and your license expired more than 3 years ago, please contact me and I'll see what I can do.
If you previously purchased SonoAnalyzer version 2 and you do NOT wish to upgrade, the SonoAnalyzer v2 infrastructure will remain in place until 01 June 2027, or until all version 2 licenses expire. New purchases and renewals of SonoAnalyzer version 2 remain available until 01 June 2026. But seriously, try version 3 - it's so much better!
